What is Blue Light?

Blue light is something we see and experience every day through mediums such as the sun, TV screens, cellphones, etc. Blue light helps to regulate our bodies’ circadian rhythms, waking us up, keeping us full of energy, and telling us when to sleep. However, the effects of too much screen time, which causes the eye to be exposed to more blue light than it would be without technology, could cause unwanted consequences. The extra blue light could cause damage to the eyes as well as the body’s circadian rhythm.
